I'm Dan — an operator-engineer. My path runs from risk and operations into software engineering and product. I've led operational functions, built fintech products and worked on distributed systems, and I now work independently across AI consultancy, developer tooling and product ventures.

The thread through all of it is the same: I want to understand the operational problem, the technical system and the product around it together, and then ship something that holds up in real use.
